MARSEILLE, France, May 22 (Reuters) - Australian rugby league player Willie Mason has joined rugby union team Toulon on a one-year deal, the latest in a string of big names to sign for the French outfit.
The club said on Sunday that Auckland-born Mason, who was playing in the English Super League with Hull Kingston Rovers, has an option for an additional year.
Toulon have signed Matt Giteau, Bakkies Botha and Gavin Henson while they also boast England's Jonny Wilkinson.
