Bad guys get heavy bans in Italian leagues

Rome side Lazio will be weakened by suspensions in their important match against Napoli when the Italian Serie A resumes in early April after a break for international games.
The Lega Serie A late Monday suspended Brazilian midfielder Matuzalem for three games for his punch at an opponent during a weekend game won 1-0 against Cesena - his total suspension will be four games as Matuzalem also received a second yellow card.

Also missing from the game at the San Paolo stadium will be Romanian defender Stefan Radu, suspended for three games last week for head-butting an opponent during a city derby that Lazio lost 2-0 against Roma.
Cristian Ledesma was also banned for two games after the tense derby and will not be available in Naples as Lazio look to claw back fourth place that grants a place in the next Champions League
 .
With eight games left, Napoli lie third three points from leaders AC Milan, who on the same weekend play a city derby against holders Inter Milan, trailing them two points adrift.
A massive eight-game ban and a fine of 1,500 euros (2,125 dollars) were given to Davide Bombardini, a veteran midfielder of AlbinoLeffe in the Serie B, who faked a foul in the box, jostled the referee over a call and insulted him after receiving his marching orders.
After the weekend game that they lost 2-1 at Portogruaro, AlbinoLeffe also had Finnish midfielder Mehmet Hetemaj banned for two games for kicking an opponent after he fell to the ground.
