suffered a head injury Saturday after being struck by an object
thrown from the stand during the

"He has suffered a cut which required stitches," Schalke sport director Horst Heldt said. "This is not acceptable. I hope that the offender can be found."
The incident occurred in the 89th minute of the game which was won 2-1 by Cologne.
