Sofia (AFP) - Bulgarian football club Levski Sofia announced Monday they had signed Stoycho Stoev, 52, as their new head coach, in a bid to bring back the glory days.

Ludogorets Razgrad win the Bulgarian League, signed a two-and-a-half year contract with Levski, the team said.
He is the sixth coach to take the helm at Levski in just two seasons.
Spanish coach Jose Murcia was sacked in August after less than two months in the job. Last season, Levski went through four coaches, including Ivaylo Petev -- now Bulgaria's national coach -- who quit after just one day.
Levski Sofia, one of the country's most popular clubs, have suffered disappointing seasons lately.
The 26-time Bulgarian League champions, who celebrated their 100th anniversary this year, finished sixth in the table last season and are currently fifth, 16 points behind leaders and arch rivals CSKA Sofia.
Stoev, who coached several Bulgarian clubs before leading Ludogorets, takes over from Levski sports director Georgy Ivanov, who had acted as interim coach since August.
