Warnock admits PSG move could tempt Taarabt

LONDON (AFP) - QPR manager Neil Warnock admits Adel Taarabt could be tempted to leave the Premier League new boys if Paris Saint-Germain continue to chase the Morocco international.
Warnock's club are reported to have received a £13.5 million ($21.7 million) bid for Taarabt from PSG and QPR's co-owner Flavio Briatore is currently negotiating with the French giants.
Taarabt, 22, played a key role in QPR's promotion as Championship winners last season and has also attracted interest from Newcastle United.
The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has hinted he would consider leaving Loftus Road as QPR are unwilling to offer him an improved contract and PSG could fit the bill as he has family in France.
"With his family all in France, and his girlfriend there as well, there's so many things to tempt you," Warnock told Sky Sports News on Friday.
"He's going to be at a top club, on massive money. It's very difficult to keep players once their heads have been turned.
"I think Flavio is dealing with the transfers in and out and I think he's dealing with PSG.
"Thankfully for me it's not down to me. Flavio is going to make the final decision on what money he accepts. They're close to making an offer.
"Whether it's enough for Flavio, I don't know, but he'll be telling me as and when he either goes or if he's definitely staying.
"We don't know whether he's going to go or stay, it's up in the air at the moment.
"We're quite optimistic either way. If we lost him it would be easier for me in some respects, the money would come in handy."
