SHANGHAI, July 30 (Reuters) - Brazilian Cesar Cielo retained his 50 metres freestyle title at the world swimming championships on Saturday.
Cielo, the 2009 winner in Rome and 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medallist, clocked 21.52 seconds to claim gold ahead of Italy’s Luca Dotto (21.90). Alain Bernard of France was third in 21.92.
