KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Sporting Kansas City captain Davy Arnaud will undergo sports hernia surgery next week and will miss up to six weeks.
The team said Wednesday that the 31-year-old midfielder is scheduled to have the procedure July 6 in Los Angeles. Arnaud says he's a "quick healer."
Arnaud has played in 15 matches in his 10th season in the MLS. Teammate Omar Bravo had sports hernia surgery earlier in the season.
