CLEVELAND, May 21 (Reuters) - Travis Buck hit his first home run since April 2010 to lift the Cleveland Indians past the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 in front of a sold out crowd in Cleveland on Saturday.
Asdrubal Cabrera led off the seventh inning with a single and scored on Buck's two out blast off Reds starter Homer Bailey, who had allowed just one hit prior to the seventh inning.
Indians starter Josh Tomlin allowed just one run in the top of the seventh as Brandon Phillips reached base after being hit by a pitch and came in to score on a ground out by Scott Rolen.
Tomlin improved to 6-1 for the league leading Indians, allowing one run on three hits while striking out three batters in seven innings. Bailey allowed the two runs on four hits while striking out four also in seven innings.
Chris Perez picked up the save with a scoreless ninth inning.
