Spanish cup winners Real Madrid announced on Thursday the signing of Hamit Altintop from German giants Bayern Munich
Altintop, 28, comes free of charge because he had completed his contract in Munich. He has signed a four-year contract with Real.
Altintop is Real's second summer signing, after fellow midfielder Nuri Sahin signed two weeks ago from Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund.
Altintop and Sahin, 22, were both born in Germany but have opted to play international football for Turkey.
