Rabat (dpa) - Real Madrid will make their Club World Cup debut in
Marrakesh rather than Rabat this season after Tuesday's semi-final
with Cruz Azul was moved due to
pitch problems.
Heavy rain saturated the pitch as Mexicans Cruz Azul came from behind to defeat Western Sydney Wanderers at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium in Rabat on Saturday.
And FIFA have decided to relocate the semi-final to avoid potential problems.
The other semi-final on Wednesday sees Argentine side San Lorenzo face Auckland City of New Zealand. That game, in addition to the final on December 20 and the placing matches, is scheduled for Marrakesh.
