Wenger quiet on Thierry bid

ARSENE WENGER has refused to confirm if Arsenal are close to re-signing Thierry Henry.

The Gunners legend — now at New York Red Bulls — is available for loan during the MLS off-season.

And Wenger is believed to be keen

on a reunion with Henry, who scored 226 goals in 369 games over eight years at the club.

But the Arsenal boss was tight-lipped when quizzed about the potential move after Sunday's 1-1 draw with Wolves.

He said: "There is no story and if we sign anybody we will inform you.

"I am 15 years in England. I have never told before I sign somebody the name of who I will sign."
