SHANGHAI, Jul 27 (Reuters) - Michael Phelps retained his men’s 200 metres butterfly world title with a stunning swim at the world championships on Wednesday.
Phelps clocked one minute, 53.34 seconds to capture gold ahead of Japan’s Takeshi Matsuda, who took silver in 1:54.01, while China’s Wu Peng claimed bronze in 1:54.67.
