Swimming-China’s Jiao wins women’s 200 butterfly title

SHANGHAI, July 28 (Reuters) - Jiao Liuyang of China won the women’s 200 metres butterfly title at the world swimming championships on Thursday.

Jiao clocked two minutes, 05.55 seconds to claim gold ahead of Britain’s Ellen Gandy, who took silver in 2:05.59, while Beijing Olympic champion Liu Zige of China won bronze in 2:05.90
