WOLFSBURG, Germany (AFP) - Sweden stunned two-time winners the United States 2-1 in their final Group C game at the women's World Cup here on Wednesday.
Sweden raced into a 2-0 lead when midfielder Lisa Dahlkvist netted a penalty after 15 minutes before captain Nilla Fischer fired in a free-kick on 35 minutes, but US striker Abby Wambach pulled a goal back in the 67th minute.
