Rugby-All Blacks Kahui to miss Fiji test with hamstring injury

AUCKLAND, July 14 (Reuters) - New Zealand centre Richard Kahui will miss next week's test against Fiji with a hamstring injury that might keep him out of action for up to a month, the All Blacks said on Thursday.
"Richard pulled up during a training session on Monday and has a three to four week injury so will be unavailable for selection for the Fiji test next week with an aim to return to rugby during the home leg of the Tri-Nations," team doctor Deb Robinson was quoted as saying in a statement.
The All Blacks host Fiji in Dunedin on July 22 with Tri-Nations matches at home to South Africa (July 30) and Australia (Aug. 6) before they visit the Springboks in Port Elizabeth (Aug. 21) and the Wallabies in Brisbane (Aug. 27).
Hosea Gear will also miss the Fiji test even though the winger was recovering well from a hamstring strain, Robinson added.
Israel Dagg (thigh muscle), fellow outside back Isaia Toeava (hip) and prop Tony Woodcock (foot) are expected to be available for the away leg of the Tri-Nations Series, the statement added.
