Pyeongchang chosen by IOC to host 2018 Winter Games

DURBAN, July 6 (Reuters) - The South Korean city of Pyeongchang was chosen by the International Olympic Committee on Wednesday to stage the 2018

 Winter Olympics, defeating rivals Annecy of France and Munich of Germany.

Pyeongchang, the first Korean city to host a Winter Games, won an outright majority in a first round of voting by IOC members.
