Mexico City (dpa) - Mexico won the under-17 football World Cup with a 2-0 victory over Uruguay in front of almost 100,000 spectators in Mexico City′s Azteca Stadium.
Antonio Briseno and Giovani Casillas scored the goals Sunday that handed the host country its second under-17 championship after its first in 2005.
Thousands of fans gathered to celebrate in the city centre.
