The four-time All-Star sustained the injury running to first base in the first inning of a 5-2 loss to the New York Yankees on July 2.
Reyes, who was voted the starting shortstop for the National League team in next week’s All-Star Game, leads the major leagues with a .354 batting average and has three home runs and 32 RBI.
