SANTA FE, July 4, 2011 (AFP) - Paraguay showed "the best and worst on Sunday in a 0-0 tie with Ecuador in their Copa America’s debut”, estimated the coach of Paraguay, the Argentine Gerardo 'Tata' Martino.
"The first 20, 25 minutes, Paraguay was great. We could have done the advantage there (...) but in the end (the first half) we saw the worst and we lose the possession of the ball, did not press as we did at the beginning" said Martino.
"In the second half, the control of the game was ours and we created several scoring opportunities, and this pleased me", admitted the coach.
For the game against Brazil, on Saturday, Martino revealed that will not change the team that started today, but stressed that he waits the recovery of the midfielder Edgar Barreto, injury, substituted after 37 minutes by Henrique Vera.
