LA PLATA, July 2, 2011 (AFP) - The coach of Bolivia, Gustavo Quinteros, said this Friday night that he was not surprised at all the level of his team in the tie against Argentina (1-1), in debut of the 2011 Copa America.
"I'm not surprised, I think the team worked well as we had planned, and after 25 minutes of the match, where Argentina had more possession of the ball, then the team settled down and created some situations" he said at the press conference following the match at La Plata.
Born in Argentina, the coach of the Bolivian team said that "has not yet peaked", and the draw to the powerful local motivates the team "to continue growing and working in this way."
Bolivia reached the third tie in the history of the Copa America with the white and blue set, which Bolivia thrashed by 6-1 in last match, in La Paz, for the Qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup.
