Belgian Gilbert wins Tour de France first stage

MONT DES ALOUETTES, France, July 2 (Reuters) - Belgium’s Philippe Gilbert won the 191.5-km first stage of the Tour de France between Passage de Gois and Mont
des Alouettes on Saturday.
Australia’s Cadel Evans was second and Norway’s Thor Hushovd finished third.
