Swiss defender Lichtsteiner heads to Juventus

ROME (AFP) - Lazio's Swiss full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner is set to sign for Juventus after the Serie A side announced on their website that the 27-year-old is undergoing his medical in Turin on Monday.
No fee has been announced by either club although the
Italian media reported that the deal is worth 10million euros.
The right back began his career with top Swiss side Grasshopper Zurich before moving to French club Lille in 2005. Three years later he switched to Lazio where he has been a regular.
Lichtsteiner is the fourth recruit for Juventus this summer as they attempt to build a side that is good enough to challenge for the Scudetto and a place in the Champions League which they have now missed out on for a second successive season.
Last season they finished seventh, missing qualification for the Europa League as well.
Juve have already signed veteran Italian World Cup winning midfielder Andrea Pirlo from champions AC Milan, another Swiss defender Reto Ziegler from relegated Sampdoria and Napoli midfielder Michele Pazienza.
There has also been a switch of coach with former Juventus midfielder Antonio Conte taking over on the bench from Luigi Delneri.
Juve are still looking for a striker and have been linked with a 35million euro bid for Atletico Madrid's Argentinian international Sergio Aguero.
