RAPALLO, Italy, May 9 (Reuters) - Belgian rider Wouter Weylandt was given emergency treatment by doctors after a bad crash during the third stage of the Giro d'Italia on Monday.
TV footage showed Leopard-Trek rider Weylandt lying on the ground and bleeding heavily after falling off his bike in the descent from the Passo del Bocco.
Doctors were seen cutting Weylandt's helmet before administering CPR treatment.
