BARCELONA, May 3 (Reuters) - A massive thunderstorm broke over Barcelona's Nou Camp stadium just a few hours before the Spanish club's Champions League semi-final second leg against bitter rivals Real Madrid.
Bolts of lightning shot across the angry-looking, dark-grey sky above the huge arena, followed up by shuddering claps of thunder as Barca prepare to defend a 2-0 lead from last week's ill-tempered first leg in Madrid.
English Premier League leaders Manchester United will defend a 2-0 lead over Schalke 04 when they host the Bundesliga side in Wednesday's other semi. The final is at London's Wembley stadium on May 28.
