Paciencia believes minor details cost Braga

Braga coach Domingos Paciencia believes it was just a few minor details that cost his side defeat in Wednesday's Europa League final in Dublin against Porto.Colombian international Falcao scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute to give his side victory in the first-ever all-Portuguese final and Paciencia said in the post-match press conference that was one of the defining moments.

"I am a bit sad for not being able to win, which we really wanted to do.

"The difference lies in small details, just three or four moments. One of them was the goal in the 44th minute and another the chance we had to equalize shortly after the break through Marcio Mossoro."

The former Porto player, for whom the game against Porto was the last in charge of the club, said that they knew the game was not going to be easy.

"I hope Braga will become stronger. We are still proud of ourselves even though we did not win. The team has lots of qualities and the run into the final was amazing.

"It is not easy to lose, but I think players showed a lot of determination. Of course there is no reason to be happy, but we can be proud of our achievements.

"This team showed that a team can go far with determination," he said.
