TURIN, Italy, May 7 (Reuters) - The HTC-Highroad won the opening team time trial of the Giro D'Italia on Saturday with Marco Pinotti of Italy the first leader of the race.
Second on the stage from Venaria Reale to Turin were the RadioShack squad.
First across the line for his HTC-Highroad team, Pinotti will now lead the Giro D'Italia on stage two from Alba to Parma.
The Giro D'Italia finishes in Milan on May 29.
