May 25 (Reuters) - Some Formula One statistics for Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix:
-
WINS
Ferrari have won 215 races in Formula One, McLaren 170, Williams 113 and champions Red Bull 19.
Michael Schumacher holds the record for victories by a driver, with 91. Ferrari's Fernando Alonso has the second most among current drivers (26). One more by the Spaniard would take him level with Britain's Jackie Stewart.
McLaren's Lewis Hamilton has won 15 races, Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel 14 and McLaren's Jenson Button nine.
Vettel's win in Spain was his fourth in five races this season and seventh in the last nine.
The German is now level with three other champions in the all-time winners list -- the late Briton Graham Hill, Australian Jack Brabham and Brazilian Emerson Fittipaldi.
- - - -
POLE POSITION
Australian Mark Webber ended team mate Vettel's run of five poles in a row last weekend. However Red Bull have still started the last six races on pole.
The record for successive poles by a constructor was set by Williams with 24 in 1992/93.
McLaren's last pole position was with Hamilton in Canada last June.
Ferrari's last was with Alonso in Singapore last September.
-
QUALIFYING
Vettel has started the last 10 races from the front row.
Ferrari's Felipe Massa, Mercedes' Michael Schumacher, Team Lotus' Jarno Trulli and HRT's Narain Karthikeyan have been outqualified by their team mates in every race so far in 2011.
-
RACE FASTEST LAP
Lewis Hamilton's fastest lap in Spain ended Webber's run of three in a row in Malaysia, China and Turkey.
-
MONACO
Ferrari have not won in Monaco for a decade. Their last success there was with Schumacher in 2001. However, the team have set the fastest lap in five of the last seven races in the principality.
The driver starting on pole position has won six of the last 10 Monaco Grands Prix. However, in 1996 France's Olivier Panis won from 14th place on the starting grid.
McLaren have won 15 times over the past 27 years compared to Ferrari's three victories.
Neither McLaren nor Ferrari made the podium last year.
-
POINTS
Former champions Williams are still seeking their first point of 2011 after their worst start to a season.
Team Lotus, Hispania (HRT) and Virgin Racing have yet to score a point in Formula One since their debuts in Bahrain last year.
