MADRID, May 7 (Reuters) - Seve Ballesteros's family dressed him in his favourite golfing shirt, blue pullover and blue trousers after he died from a brain tumour on Saturday, his tearful elder brother Baldomero said.
Baldomero Ballesteros explained they were the clothes the five-times major winner usually wore during championships on his 'Sundays of glory'.
"I thought it was the best, and everyone nodded in agreement," Baldomero told Spanish media..
The family gathered at Seve's house in Pedrena, northern Spain, on Friday and Baldomero described how the 54-year-old bid farewell to his relatives.
"He said goodbye to us all one by one, he grabbed our hands and whispered in our ears. I told him 'I love you' and he replied 'I love you as well,'" he said.
"He knew he was dying, and he did everything showing great fortitude."
