Palermo draw at AC Milan in first cup semi-final

AC Milan were held to a 2-2 draw at home Wednesday in the first-leg semi-final of the Italian Cup.
Argentine Javier Pastore and Uruguayan Abel Hernandez reversed an early opener from Milan's Swedish ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who volleyed home a cross from Massimo Oddo to end a three-month scoring drought.

Pastore levelled on 14 minutes also volleying a feed in the box from Antonio Nocerino and Hernandez shortly after the break beat Marco Amelia from a tight angle off a Pastore pass.

Dutch substitute Urby Emanuelson came on for Dutch compatriot Clarence Seedorf and levelled for Milan in the 76th minute, firing home a lose ball after a devastating break from Ibra.

The Swede is to be sidelined for two more games in the Serie A as a sports judge turned down an appeal filed by the league leaders against a three-game suspension.

In the other semi-final played Tuesday, Serb Dejan Stankovic drilled home a smashing winner as holders Inter Milan beat hosts Roma 1-0.

The second-leg semis are set for May 10-11, with a one-leg final to be played in Rome on May 29.
