Badminton-Lee Chong Wei sets up India open date with Gade

NEW DELHI, April 30 (Reuters) - Malaysian world number one Lee Chong Wei defeated Hong Kong's eighth seed Hu Yun 21-11 21-15 on Saturday to set up a a final clash with Denmark's Peter Gade in the India Open Super Series.

Former All England champion Gade, who recorded a comfortable 21-15 21-19 win over South Korean Park Sung Hwan, has managed just one victory in 12 matches against the Malaysian.
"It is the first Super Series in India and I would like to win it. He (Gade) is an experienced player and it is always tough against him," Lee Chong Wei said.
"I hope I can beat him once again here. I will try my best and prepare myself well for the final."
In the women's singles, unseeded Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand breezed past fourth seed Yip Pui Yin of Hong Kong 21-13 21-8 in the semi-finals.
She will meet third seed Bae Youn Joo of South Korea, who toiled hard against Japanese Sayaka Sato before winning 23-21 15-21 21-12 in Sunday's final.
