Loew calls for dynamic German effort in Kazakhstan qualifier

Germany will have no mercy with minnows Kazakhstan as coach Joachim Loew wants to see dynamic attacking football from his team in Saturday's Euro 2012 qualifier.
Loew confirmed on Friday that veteran Miroslav Klose will spearhead the German attack as he called for a similar fast-paced game as at the 2010 World Cup and the first Euro qualifiers.
"We want to win. We want to see a team that shows the same enthusiasm and wit as at the World Cup and the following games. We want to play at a fast pace," said Loew.
"It is not a question of how good Kazakhstan are, but how good we are."
Germany top qualifying group A with a maximum 12 points and 13 goals. Bottom team Kazakhstan, by contrast, are yet to earn a point and score a goal in the campaign. Germany won the first meeting in the former Soviet republic 3-0.

Captain Philipp Lahm said that "we are not on holiday here" as a sellout crowd of 47,849 is to be treated to the full dynamics of the young team and a possible goalfest.

Klose, 32, will be the centre of attention as he made his Bundesliga debut for Kaiserslautern in 2000 and earned his maiden cap in their stadium 10 years ago.

Now Klose enters his 107th cap and on 59 goals is just nine shy of Gerd Mueller's record 68, a margin that could further narrow on Saturday.

While only a reserve man at Bayern Munich, Klose is indispensable for Loew, who said he was "absolutely sure that he will keep up his level."

Loew will rely heavily on his World Cup stars before planning to give several youngsters a chance in Tuesday's friendly against Australia, as he continues his task of rejuvenating the team.

Wolfsburg's Arne Friedrich will partner Per Mertesacker in central defence while Loew's only real problem area, the left back position, will be filled by Dennis Aogo of SV Hamburg.
If the visitors manage to find the net they will go down in the books as having scored the 1,000th goal against Germany in the 103-year history of German internationals.
