Liverpool grabs injury-time equalizer to draw with Arsenal, Sunderland wins northeast derby

Liverpool required an injury-time goal to avoid a morale-sapping defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, while another late strike settled the northeast derby in Sunderland's favour once again.

Martin Skrtel's powerful header in the seventh minute of stoppage time rescued Liverpool a 2-2 draw at Anfield, with Arsenal unable to hold on despite playing against 10 men following Fabio Borini's sending-off.
Liverpool dominated the game, taking the lead through Philippe Coutinho in the 45th, only for Arsenal to rally through goals by Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud.
Last season's runner-up, Liverpool is 10th and desperately needs top striker Daniel Sturridge back from injury.
Adam Johnson's 90th-minute goal earned Sunderland a 1-0 win at Newcastle and a fourth straight victory in the derby.
