Madrid (dpa) - Modest Eibar stayed well above the Spanish danger zone
on Monday with a 5-2 home destruction of lowly Almeria.
Federico Piovaccari, Saul Berjon, Raul Albentosa, Raul
Navas and Ander Capa all scored for Eibar, Fernando Soriano and Edgar Mendez replied for Almeria.
Eibar - in the top flight for the first time ever - were everyone's favourites for relegation at the start of the season, but are now sitting in ninth place.
Almeria, in contrast, are fourth from bottom. On Friday they will host rampant leaders Real Madrid, who will be looking for their 12 straight win in La Liga.
Later Monday, Levante receive Getafe.
