Golf-Donald closes in on PGA lead in third round

JOHNS CREEK, Georgia, Aug 13 (Reuters) - British world number one Luke Donald moved within a shot of the lead at the PGA Championship after getting to
five under par after 14 holes in Saturday's third round.
Overnight leaders Jason Dufner and fellow American Keegan Bradley, who teed off at 1500 local (1900 GMT), were joined by 40-year-old Australian John Senden at the top of the leaderboard after he birdied the opening hole.
David Toms, the 2001 PGA champion when the tournament was last held at Atlanta Athletic Club, put himself in the frame for Sunday's final round with a sparkling 65 to finish at two-under 208.
Donald sank a 30-footer to birdie the par-four 14th and join four other players at four under while his compatriot, Lee Westwood, was also poised to get in place for Sunday's title hunt after moving to two under overall.
Another name moving into contention was 2005 champion Phil Mickelson, three under after 13 holes to lie three strokes off the pace.
U.S. Open champion Rory McIlroy, who has battled with a wrist injury since the third hole of the opening round, had a disappointing day, carding a 74 after some poor putting.
