Vanendert wins Tour de France 14th stage

PLATEAU DE BEILLE, France, July 16 (Reuters) - Belgian Jelle
Vanendert won the 14th stage of the Tour de France, a 168.5-km
trek from St Gaudens on Saturday.     

Spain's Samuel Sanchez was second and Luxembourg's Andy
Schleck finished third.     

Thomas Voeckler of France retained the overall leader's
yellow jersey.
