SHANGHAI, July 28 (Reuters) - James Magnussen of Australia scored a stunning victory in the men’s 100 metres freestyle at the world championships on Thursday.
Magnussen clocked 47.63 seconds to claim gold ahead of Brent Hayden of Canada, who took silver in 47.95, while William Meynard of France was third in 48.00.
