Swimming-Herasimenia, Ottesen dead heat in women’s freestyle

SHANGHAI, July 29 (Reuters) - Aliaksandra Herasimenia of Belarus and Jeanette Ottesen of Denmark dead heated for the gold medal in the women’s 100 metres freestyle final at the world swimming championships on Friday.

Herasiemnia and Ottesen clocked 53.45 seconds to win gold, while Ranomi Kromowidjojo of the Netherlands took bronze in 53.66.
