LONDON (AP)—Tottenham captain Ledley King has had more surgery on his left knee and will miss the Premier League club’s preseason tour of South Africa.
Spurs say King must “rest for up to 10 days before progressing to full activity within a further 10 days.”
That means the 30-year-old defender may be fit for the start of the season.
King missed 127 Premier League games over the past six seasons, mostly because of knee trouble.
