This weekend, FIFA.com will deliver extensive coverage of the feverishly anticipated Preliminary Draw for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ to football fans everywhere. Follow all the fun live from Rio de Janeiro as we cover the Preliminary Draw in a number of exciting and exclusive ways.

Welcome to DrawCast
Our live Draw application (DrawCast) will ensure that fans experience the draw in all of its flair and flavour. The application includes a number of interactive features such as a real-time layout of all the pots and groups; live streams of the latest photos, videos and news from Rio de Janeiro and a live commentary function that will cover everything from the red-carpet interviews to post-draw reactions from coaches and VIPs. 

The live Draw application will also house a real-time FanChat which will run throughout the day, allowing fans from all over the world to express their thoughts and opinions - all this, in one easily accessible application! DrawCast will start at 12:00 local time (17:00 CET) and will stay open late into the Brazilian evening.

Live streaming
The main draw event begins at 15:00 local time (20.00 CET) on Saturday and will be streamed live on FIFA.com. Join Master of Ceremonies and FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke for what promises to be an emotional and exciting afternoon at the Marina da Gloria in Rio de Janeiro.

From celebrity interviews to group analysis, the news coverage will be quick and colourful on FIFA.com this weekend. We will have feature articles on all of the exciting happenings surrounding the draw and several exclusive interviews with various celebrities, football stars, coaches, world leaders and dignitaries in attendance. For numbers’ fans, we will also have in-depth statistical coverage on the draw results.
