BUENOS AIRES, June 28 (Reuters) - Colombia first choice goalkeeper David Ospina was injured after colliding with team mate Hugo Rodallega during a Copa America practice game on Tuesday.
Ospina, who lay motionless after the impact, looked to have suffered a broken or badly bruised nose. He received pitchside treatment before being accompanied from the training ground by a member of the coaching staff holding a dressing pad to his face.
No one with the team was immediately available to confirm the severity of the injury.
Colombia are in Group A with hosts Argentina, Bolivia and Costa Rica. They meet Costa Rica in their opening match in the northwestern city of Jujuy on Saturday.
The pair were playing on opposite sides in Colombia’s
first practice in the north-central city of Santa Fe since arriving in Argentina for the tournament starting on Friday.
