Buenos Aires is preparing to experience the celebration of the Copa America in the LG Copa America Fest

Buenos Aires, June 30, 2011 - Within hours of the start of the Copa America, Buenos Aires is prepared to live the great party of football on the LG COPA AMERICA FEST presented by Telcel, which begins tomorrow, Friday, July 1 at 18 00 (local time).
During the course of the Copa America, the Plaza San Martín will host the LG COPA AMERICA FEST OFFICIAL FAN FEST. This space has been conceived and designed for fans and media around the world and can amplify channel and massively cover the most important sporting event of 2011.
From 1st July to July 24, with free admission, LG COPA AMERICA FEST will be the place where football fans can see and feel the Copa America as being in the stadium. All games will be broadcast live via a high quality large screen (12 x 7 meters.) with a light and sound system that will allow fans a unique experience.
Besides football, the LG COPA AMERICA FEST will offer a fantastic program of entertainment and special guests. Within this space will mount a 600 square meter tent which will feature a soccer field and an area where there will be various events. There will be a conference in which top players will meet with the media.
LG COPA AMERICA FEST will be a space to articulate the multiple dimensions that are played on a continental scale event such as the Copa America. This will develop activities that address multiple expressions such as:
• Sport.
• Entertainment.
• Education.
• Culture.
