BMC investigate part-time aide

LES HERBIERS, France, June 30 (Reuters) - The BMC Racing team have launched an investigation into a part-time aide who is alleged to be part of a doping investigation in Belgium, the American outfit said on Thursday.

“The BMC Racing Team is taking immediate action to investigate what involvement Sven Schoutteten might have had with riders and staff during his interaction with the team,” BMC said in a statement two days before the start of the Tour de France.
“Schoutteten is alleged to be part of a doping investigation in Belgium that stems from 2009, before the BMC Racing Team was even acquainted with him.”
Belgian media reported that Schoutteten was arrested on Monday in Belgium following a search conducted at his house, two years after police seized 195 vials of the banned blood booster EPO from him.
