Kuznetsova reaches quarterfinals at French Open

PARIS (AP)—Svetlana Kuznetsova reached the quarterfinals of the French Open by eliminating Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-2 Sunday.

The 2009 French Open champion will next face No. 11 Marion Bartoli of France.

Hantuchova defeated top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki in the previous round.
