NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Opener Gautam Gambhir will lead India in the one-off Twenty20 and five one-day internationals against West Indies next month, the Indian cricket board said on Friday.
Regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, batsman Sachin Tendulkar and pace bowler Zaheer Khan had been rested for the first part of the tour but would be available for the subsequent three-match test series, the board said.
Squad: Gautam Gambhir (captain), Suresh Raina (vice-captain), Parthiv Patel (wicketkeeper), Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Subramaniam Badrinath, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Ravichandran Ashwin, Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Munaf Patel, Vinay Kumar, Yusuf Pathan, Amit Mishra and Wriddhiman Saha.
