Toulouse and St Etienne missed the cut as hosts France on Friday named nine venues to host the Euro 2016 football tournament.
As at the 1998 World Cup, the nation's capital Paris will have matches in two venues, the Parc des Prince and Stade de France.
The other matches will be played in Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Nancy and Nice.
Toulouse and St Etienne were not picked, but will remain on standby as mandatory alternates.
Euro 2016 will see an increase of teams from 16 to 24.
