France coach Blanc cleared by Sports Ministry

PARIS, May 10 (Reuters) - France coach Laurent Blanc has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Sports Ministry's investigation into the racism row that has shaken French football, Sports minister Chantal Jouanno said on Tuesday.

"There is nothing leading to say that Laurent Blanc is backing discriminatory practices," Jouanno told a news conference.
The French football federation is also holding an inquiry following allegations that Blanc and national technical director Francois Blaquart, among others, had discussed the possibility of enforcing limits on black and Arab players in youth academies.
The FFF will present its investigation's findings at a news conference later on Tuesday (1230).
