ORVIETO, Italy, May 11 (Reuters) - Rabobank's Pieter Weening enjoyed a solo victory on stage five of the Giro D'Italia on Wednesday and moved into the overall lead.
Second behind the Dutch rider about eight seconds back was
Fabio Duarte with fellow Colombian Jose Serpa in third.
Weening broke away with about eight km to go from a lead group of three riders to claim the stage win.
Overnight leader David Millar of Britain finished about two minutes and 45 seconds down.
The Giro finishes on May 29 in Milan.
