SAN PELLEGRINO TERME, Italy, May 25 (Reuters) - Italian Eros Capecchi won stage 18 of the Giro d’Italia on Thursday from a three-man break.
Second behind the 24-year-old Liquigas rider on the 151-km stage from Morbegno was HTC-Highroad’s Marco Pinotti, with Kevin Seeldraeyers of Belgium in third.
With three stages left to race, Spain’s Alberto Contador remains the overall leader.
The Giro finishes on Sunday in Milan with an individual time trial.
