PARIS, May 9 (Reuters) - France coach Laurent Blanc is to be interviewed on Monday by the French federation and the Sports Ministry as part of an investigation into a racial quota row that has plunged the game into turmoil, the FFF said.
"Laurent Blanc's hearing is taking place today," FFF spokesman Francois Manardo said.
Sports minister Chantal Jouanno is expected to be presented with the initial findings of the ministry investigation later on Monday although she is not expected to comment on them, sources close to the minister told Reuters.
Blanc has been under fire since he attended a soccer federation meeting in November where reports say the idea of quotas for Arab and African youth players were discussed.
FFF technical director Francois Blaquart, who also took part in the discussions, was provisionally suspended pending the results of the twin inquiry.
France endured a woeful World Cup last year and their players even went on strike but they are top of their Euro 2012 qualifying group under their new coach.
Blanc, slammed by some of his France 1998 World Cup winning team mates such as Patrick Vieira, has denied being racist and said any comments he made at the November meeting into dual nationality players were taken out of context but could "offend some sensibilities".
