MADRID, May 7 (Reuters) - Almeria were relegated after losing 2-0 at fellow strugglers Getafe on Saturday, their seventh consecutive defeat ending a four-year stint in La Liga.
The south-coast club stayed bottom with 26 points and were 13 from
safety with three games left after goals early in each half from Adrian Colunga and Pedro Rios at the Coliseum.
Roberto Olabe, Almeria's third coach of the campaign after the sackings of Juan Manuel Lillo and Jose Luis Oltra, was sent off midway through the first half for protesting to the referee.
Almeria have only managed five wins all season.
